Admin Manage CBT

Admin Manage CBT

In this section teacher can manage test/assignment question and topic that has been saved in the admin question bank and topic bank, admin and teacher can make additional modifications to how the questions could be administered such as marks per question, duration of the CBT, publishing of results automatically etc.

  • Click on Admin Manage CBT
  1. Select CBT type: test/examination from the drop down menu that you want to manage
  2. Select the class year group
  3. Select the subject that question has been set on, that you wish to manage
  • Click on ADD NEW TEST/ASSIGNMENT:

On the right corner of your screen a new form pops up fill the form according to your choice and the choices  given to you .Note all fields with asterisk must be filled.

  1. Title give CBT a title e.g. Home work
  2. Create a code for the CBT e.g. hw101
  3. Enter marks per question e.g.  4
  4. Create start and end date for the CBT to be taken by students if necessary
  5. Set duration for how long the CBT has to be completed in
  6. Toggle on/off to shuffle questions
  7. Toggle on/off to shuffle answers
  8. Toggle on/off to allow to view correct answers
  9. Toggle on/off to automatically publish results after students have taken CBT
  10. Enter new instruction for the way CBT should be answered
  • Click on SUBMIT:To assign test/assignment details and instructions

The next page that comes up is the “Assign Subject Page”: 

The test/assignment details that has been configured for a particular class has to be assigned for a particular subject and class

  1. Select the subject you saved in your CBT topics which has question in the question bank
  2. Select the class group, the subject and topic is allocated for
  • CLICK ADD: Select from the list of questions that has been saved in the question bank and assign questions and instruction for the the year group to take up the CBT by clicking on add
  • Now Click CONTINUE:

The next page you are directed to is student page intended for students enrolled in that subject and class

  • Check box list of students intended to take the CBT
  • Click UPDATE :

After clicking on update on the home page of Admin Manage CBT Navigate on the table below to the Actions row 

  1. Click on the eye icon to publish this question with instruction
  2. Click on the bulls eye icon to preview how the CBT would look
  3. Click on the pen icon to edit the instructions/Test Assignment Details
  4. Click on the bin icon to remove question
